Adoptable Terms of Serivice

You must read, understand, and agree to these terms if you receive an adoptable from me. BE SURE TO READ THE ENTIRE DOCUMENT.

Rules

A) Auctions:

•          In an adoptable auction, you must reply to the comment that I specify in the adoptable’s description (Normally “Bids here”).

•          Reply in a chain. This is to enable everyone to keep track of the bids.

•          If somebody writes AB (Autobuy), the bidder will get the adopt for the price written on the adoptable’s description. If two people write AB, the first one will get the adoptable.

•          Please, be sure you are able to purchase before placing your bid. Bid retracting or editing your comment to make the bid lower is NOT permitted.

•          Any additional rules mentioned in the adoptable’s description are applicable.

•          Holds are not perimtted.

B) Set Price

•          You must comment on the adoptable. You’ll get the adoptable for the price written on the adoptable’s description.

•          Holds are not permitted.

C) Payment

•          All payment must be done via PayPal in USD, unless I specify some other payment method in the description of the adoptable 

•          Payment must be made with 72 hours of receiving an invoice.

•          Refunds are not accepted.

•          Once payment is made, you will receive a digital copy of the art. There is no physical copy.

•          Chargebacks are not permitted. The buyer must be the cardholder of the card that is linked to the PayPal account they are paying with or they were authorized to make the payment by the cardholder. If, by any chance, I receive a chargeback because the purchase was not made by the cardholder or authorized by the cardholder, I take no responsibility over it. It is not my responsibility to make sure the buyer is the cardholder or where authorized by them. Also, I take no responsibility if the buyer turns out to be a child who used their parent’s/guardian’s/any family member’s PayPal account without the proper consent.

•          I do not take responsibility if the commissioner sends the money to the wrong person.

When you get the adoptable:

You will get the original full size PSD and unwatermarked PNG and JPG of the adoptable.

YES:

•          Rights to use design and characters

•          Can use the adopt in a roleplay group/forums

•          Can resell the adoptable for the same price you bought it, no more. Under no circumstances is the buyer is allowed to resell the design for the higher price without my permission.

•         Trading/Gifting

•         Alternate the design, gender and sex.

•          Use it for personal use (prints/stickers/mug/t-shirt/etc. as long as it is only for personal use)

•          Share the artwork of the design on their social media with proper credit to the artist.

NO: 

• Stealing the art

•          Claim the original design as your own

•          Use the design/artwork of the design for commercial purposes

•          Share my artwork of the design on your social media without proper credit given.

As the artist, I can:

•          Post/display the picture anywhere I want (giving the buyer proper credit as the owner of the character(s)).

•          Promote myself with it in any place.

•          Offer the digital files on Patreon  and similar sites.

•          Publish books with it.

•          If I change my mind about selling a certain adoptable and no one has paid for it yet/it is not closed yet, I have the right to close the adoptable and claim the character as my own, whenever I wish.
